Employees & Some of Their Pets "The doctor gets the credit, but a lot of the hard work and caring is done by these fine staff members" The employees of this hospital are the pillars and foundation holding up the hospital and doctor. Their work hours and demands on their lives are great, but their is nothing greater than helping one of God's creatures. Here We Are! If you haven't come by lately, here are the faces to match up to the voices on the phone: Krissie
Position: Manager Bio: Kissie has been employed at LCAH for almost eight years, and is a good example of what hard work and determination can get someone. Starting as a kennel technician she slowly learned the ends and outs of the clinic, and moved up the chain of the ladder till she reached her destination point as manager.
Position: Technician/Manager Bio: Justin has worked for LCAH for going on eight years starting as a kennel technician along side Krissie. After graduating high school he moved into a full time position learning the ropes to customer service and more importantly, technician work. He did this until fulfilling the position as lead technician, manager, and Customer relations. Kendalle
Position: Reception Bio: Kendalle has been with LCAH for around two years and has been the face and sound that greets our great guest, clients and patients almost each and everyday. She is a great asset to our family and always will greet you with a smile and an open heart. Besides answering phones and greeting guest, Kendalle is also trained in some technician duties and capable of relaying patient information from our technician and doctor to our clients during check out. Whether drawling blood, running lab work, assisting the doctor and most importantly assisting our clients during the most crucial times of our day, check in and check out, she is always their to assist in any way possible.
Sherri
Position: Assistant Technician/Kennel Manager Bio: Sherri has been one of the missing pieces in our puzzle who is capable of an array of duties from reception, kennel management , technician assistant and lab technician. We at LCAH like to train all our employees in every aspect so they are capable of assisting when appropriate. Because of this, being capable of an array of duties takes time and lots of learning, that is unless you are Sherri. Her ability to learn fast and always with enthusiasm makes her a vital piece to our family puzzle.
Will
Position: Technician assistant, Lab Technician Bio: Will has been with us for over a year now and has moved from kennel technician to technician/reception assistant and learning more each day. He is one of our hardest and most productive employees who consistently stays busy and always there to help out in every aspect of our practice. At this time Will is steadily finishing up learning most aspects of technician duties and is now taking on reception. With each day, he progresses in his abilities while taking up new ones at the same time.
Lauren
Position: Groomer, Technician Assistant Bio: Lauren has been with us for well over a few years and has been another important piece in our family puzzle. Stating off as a kennel technician she slowly learned important technician duties such as blood drawls, catheters, assist in an anesthetic procedure, and many other duties. At the same time she took a great interest in every aspect of grooming and began being trained by our former groomer Sara. After a year of hands on training, Lauren became our full time groomer and has done an excellent job. It takes someone with great detail to become a great groomer and excellent hand coordination and knowledge. Because of all her great qualities, she is a very important factor in our practice who is learning more each and every day.
Sarah #1
Position: Reception/Assistant Technician Bio: New to our great family is Sarah. She has come to us after spending many years as a large animal veterinarian technician. Because of her background she has been able to carry over much of her knowledge from large animal and instill it into small animal practice. At the same time it is a big adjustment and we have to still sometimes remind her she is restraining a Yorky, not a horse. All jokes aside, Sarah is a great learner and is interested in every aspect of our practice.
Sarah #2
Position: Kennel Technician, Tech/Reception in training Bio: Sarah has been with us for a few months now and has been a hard worker finishing all her kennel duties on time and learning reception responsibilities during her free time. Along with this, she also assist in exam rooms and checking in your pets. She is a great worker and proud to have her.
Nicole
Position: Reception, Assistant Technician Bio: Nicole came to us close to a year ago from the "PEACH" state and has been a great employee, excelling in all training and even personal relations. At this time she has taken a leave of absents for family matters but will be rejoining our family in months. We cant wait and greatly miss you.
